Pro Mobiles team wishes a very happy 45th birthday to mobile phone users.

Many of us are not aware of the fact that today marks the 45th anniversary of the first cellular phone. The first cellular phone was ‘DynaTAC cellular system’ prototype made by Motorola. The first mobile cellular phone call was placed on April 3, 1973. When the phone became commercially available 10 years later, it measured in at 13 inches long and weighed 1.75 pounds—as much as a pineapple—and cost $3,995. My how things have changed, a 2017 GSMA Intelligence report declares there are 5 billion mobile subscribers worldwide.
