In the last four years, after its launch, Apple Music has reached 60 million customers-who pay for subscribers and who try out the service for free. Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP, responsible for services, shared the amount.

This certainly represents strong growth for Apple music, just lagging behind Spotify. Spotify has 100 million paying users were already passed in April.
In the first six months of its launch, Apple Music gained 10 million subscribers and in December 2016, up to 20 million.
In April 2018 the amount was 40 million, and in the July report last year the amount was actually higher than that of Spotify’s US paying users. Clearly, however, when you factor in the rest of the world, this is another whole situation..
