The new SoCs–Helio G90 and G90 T –were formally announced by MediaTek. The new platforms use two Arm Cortex-A76 cores, six Cortex-A55, along with the Mali-G76 GPU, which are octa-core. Both the G90 and G90 T are constructed on the 12 nm FinFET method of TSMC, which can be up to 2.05GHz. The new SoCs also support LPDDR4X RAM of about 10 GB.

The HyperEngine Game technology providing assistance for a range of features to increase the general gameplay knowledge is a significant feature of the latest chipsets. One of these is a networking engine that can integrate WiFi and LTE to increase the signal power.

A further title is the dual WLAN routing aid that enables a single computer for secure connections and reduced latency to be connected concurrently to two routers. There is also support for HDR10 and acceleration of the contact screen in order to improve the fluid environment.

In the increasing smartphone gaming industry the MediaTek aims obviously to obtain traction, as opposed to the Qualcomm competitors. The firm said the fresh SoC G90 range is due to create its premiere in India shortly on a Xiaomi phone.
